Transition Chagrin Valley
The Transition movement was started by a permaculturist and both terms, transition and permaculture, describe self-organizing systems that emphasize diversity in order to promote resilience. And both have the aim of providing for basic human needs while emulating and nurturing the systems in nature in which we are embedded. By joining this movement we are taking the first step in reinvigorating our local communities so that they may be better situated to meet the coming challenges of economic, energy, climate, and political instability that many have forecasted and that many of us sense have already begun.
