At Kelly's Working Well Farm our vision is to become an embedded part of the local community and economy, not only with the farm and school, but also as a place where people can develop their own business as part of the total farm/school/store enterprise (eg Joel Salatin's Fiefdom model). So, for example, a person might want to try out being a beekeeper, raising bees, harvesting honey and creating value added products. They could start with some hives at the farm or at their own home, develop the products and sell them at the farm store. Someone else might want to offer classes on jam-making or fermentation, or making your own toiletries. We believe that this model will provide multiple  benefits both to the new entrepreneur and to the farm and wider community. Contact us with questions or to make a proposal.
